This is useful for checking whether a browser comparison is still running, waiting for you, or finished. A phone view does not move the job to the phone or keep a sleeping computer working.
Connect the phone and computer
Use current OGAM and OGAD with Pro device sync. On the computer, open Devices. On the phone, open Settings > Sync and pair using the computer’s QR code or the pairing code from device discovery. Both devices must be reachable over the selected connection.
A local network can carry the sync without internet access. The task itself may still need internet for websites. Access from outside the local network needs a working remote network route.
Pairing shares the workspace’s chats and projects; it is not a switch for sending only one chosen conversation. Use devices you intend to share that workspace with.
Review a task from the phone
- Start a short Computer Use or Web Use task in an OGAD chat, with Assistant on.
- Open the same synced conversation in OGAM.
- Find the task card and check Runs on. It should name the computer doing the work.
- Read CURRENT ACTION and open Activity for the recorded progress.
- Review the current screen or available saved steps in the card. After completion, read the result and check the actual output on the computer when needed.
The phone asks for task visual steps when the card is visible. If the card says the screen is syncing, let the devices reconnect before judging the result. “No saved session is available” means the card does not have a saved screen session to show; it does not prove no work happened.
Choose a task you can recognize from a small screen
Start with a short reading or drafting task. For example, have the computer compare a few public pages and return a table with source links. You can recognize whether it is browsing the intended pages from the task card without needing to inspect every pixel remotely.
Keep the phone on the same trusted local network for the first test. This removes uncertainty about a route between different locations. Prepare app and model downloads and Pro access before expecting the setup to work without internet. The websites in a research task still require their own connection.
Before moving away, confirm that the task has actually started on the computer and that its card appears in the synced chat. Then check the phone. If the conversation itself is absent, solve chat sync first; a task-screen problem cannot explain a whole missing conversation.
Read status and evidence together

A status label and a saved frame answer different questions. The status reports what the task service knows. The frame shows one captured point in the run. Neither proves that the final output is correct.
For the page comparison, check whether the result includes the sources you requested. Open those sources through an appropriate device when you need to verify the facts. For a document edit, return to the computer and inspect the saved file before distributing it.
Keep the computer responsible for the work
The phone is a useful review surface; the task still depends on the execution computer’s app, model, and active session. If you shut that computer down or let it sleep, viewing the task from your phone does not keep it running.
Use the desktop controls when you need to intervene in its screen work. Do not assume that a preview on the phone is a continuous remote desktop or a separate mouse that can safely compete with the running task.
The benefit is simpler: you can leave the desk for a short period and return to the same conversation to inspect reported progress, instead of starting another chat to ask what happened.
What can this review tell you?
You can inspect the reported progress and available visual evidence. Saved screens are task steps, not a continuous recording of every computer action. A completed status also does not replace checking a changed file, draft, or web result.
Keep the computer awake and connected. If it goes offline, the phone may show the last known state. Do not read an old screen as live progress.
