OGAP · Off Grid AI Power · Coming soon

Your phone can
think all day.

Real AI on your own phone is the whole point - and it runs the device hot and drains it fast. OGAP is the hardware answer: an adjustable cooling frame and battery, built for the phone doing the thinking. It keeps your phone cool, keeps the tokens flowing, and keeps it alive well past the point it used to quit.

This is the honest limit of on-device AI. A model running in your phone's memory, capture that never stops, transcription and analysis in real time - it all lands on one small battery behind one sheet of glass with nowhere to put the heat. Software can only shave the cost. Past a point you need hardware, so we are building it.

What is in it

One kit that locks around the phone you already own. No proprietary case, no dock, no loose battery pack.

Width and height lock to your phone. The camera area and side controls stay open.
Active cooling
Active cooling behind the upper grille moves heat away from the back of the phone. Sustained inference heats the chip until it throttles itself, and every token after that comes slower - cooling is how you hold the speed you started with.
Power that rides along
The battery sits below the cooling section and powers your phone wirelessly or through the built-in USB-C connection. The same bidirectional USB-C port charges OGAP, so a day of capture and local models stops being a race against the battery icon.
One frame, not a bag of parts
Concealed width arms and height locks secure the frame around your phone. Four soft bumpers cap the rails while the camera area, screen edges and side controls remain open and usable.
Tuned for this workload
Generic power banks are built for a phone that is mostly idle. This is built for one that is transcribing, embedding and generating for hours - the load pattern we see in our own logs, on the phones our users actually run.
Three sizes, one for your phone
It comes in S, M and L, because a compact phone and a 6.9-inch slab do not want the same footprint. Tell us the phone you actually carry at checkout and we ship the size that fits it.

Power, two ways

The frame stays the same. You choose how OGAP powers the phone.

Wireless

For phones with wireless charging

The charging coil sits behind the battery body and aligns with the coil in your phone. Fit the frame and there is no cable between them.

Wired

For phones without wireless charging

OGAP routes power inside the frame to your phone's USB-C port. Nothing loops outside the module, including on phones like the OnePlus Nord 5.

Why hardware, and why us

We are the ones who put the load there. Off Grid AI Mobile runs models in your phone’s memory, and its recorder leaves capture, transcription and a local model working through your whole day. When we say battery and heat are the real limits, that is not a spec-sheet observation - it is the thing our own users hit first.

So OGAP is not merchandise. It is the missing half of a phone that thinks for itself: keep the chip cool so it does not throttle, keep the charge topped up so the day does not end early. Everything else about Off Grid AI stays exactly as it is - nothing leaves your device, and the software works with or without this in your hand.

Where it is right now

We are finishing the industrial design and building prototypes. It is not shipping yet, and we are not going to quote you airflow numbers, milliamp-hours, or an extra-hours figure until we have measured them on the hardware that actually ships. When they are real, they go on this page.

What is real today: the price, and that you can hold it. $49, shipping included, anywhere in the world, for pre-orders placed now.

Pre-order

Pre-order yours at $49, shipping included anywhere in the world. Tell us the phone you carry, in your own words - that is how we pick your size, S, M or L. Checkout is handled by RevenueCat; we email you for your shipping address, then again when your unit ships.

Questions

What exactly do I get? One kit: an adjustable frame with four soft rail bumpers, an upper cooling section, the battery below it, wireless charging, and a built-in USB-C connection to your phone.

Why would I need it? Running models on your own phone all day is the heaviest thing you can ask of it. Heat makes the chip throttle, which slows every token, and continuous capture and inference drain the battery far faster than normal use. OGAP attacks both directly: pull the heat off, and carry your own power.

Do I still need a phone case? OGAP is designed to take the place of a full case while it is fitted. The two rails and four soft bumpers protect the held edges without covering the camera area or side controls. Final protection claims wait for shipping-hardware tests.

How does it charge? Both ways. The battery body can charge your phone wirelessly or route power through the frame to your phone’s USB-C port. The same bidirectional USB-C port charges OGAP itself.

Does it fit my phone? It comes in three sizes - S, M and L - and the frame adjusts in width and height within each. Tell us the phone you carry at checkout, in your own words, and we match the size to it.

Can I buy it now? Yes - pre-orders are open at $49 with shipping included, anywhere in the world. You pay now and hold that price; we email you for your shipping address, then again when your unit ships.
