A private work history should be something you can manage. OGAD (Off Grid AI Desktop) gives you Data & privacy controls for saved screen captures, memory records, chats, meetings, and generated images. You can clear a category or remove older captures without resetting every part of the app.

This is useful when a project ends, an old screen history no longer helps, or you want a smaller local record. The deletion controls act on data stored on this device. Choose the category carefully: removing saved information is different from pausing future capture.
Start with the data you want gone
Open Settings → Data & privacy and review the categories. The panel shows available counts or sizes so you can choose the scope before deleting.

The controls are present in OGAD 0.0.51. Screen capture and the derived Pro work features must have been used for their categories to contain data.
If your goal is to remove both screen history and the AI work notes derived from it, review Screen captures and Memory & entities. Do not assume that clearing one visible picture is the same as clearing every summary, conversation, or other copy that refers to the work.
Pause new capture before a cleanup
Use Pause capture in Replay or Settings if you want to stop new screen activity from being recorded while you decide what to remove. Check that the visible status changes to Paused.
Pausing preserves existing data. Deleting removes the selected saved data. After cleanup, leave capture paused if you do not want it to resume; use Resume capture only when you choose to start recording again.
Other sources have their own controls. Clipboard history and meeting recording are separate from screen capture, so check them independently if they are part of the cleanup you intend.
Remove older captures first when that is enough
The Screen captures row offers age cutoffs such as > 3 days, > 7 days, and > 30 days. These are deletion actions for older data when you select them. They are not a promise that choosing the button creates a permanent automatic retention schedule.
For example, if you only need the last week of screen history, the seven-day cutoff gives you a narrower cleanup than clearing the whole category. Read the confirmation to verify the date scope before proceeding.
Meetings have their own age choices. Do not use the meeting row when your intention is only to remove screen captures.
Getting started with a deliberate cleanup
Take a moment to identify the exact scope, then use the smallest deletion action that meets it. Keep a separate copy of anything you still need before you confirm deletion.
- Pause capture if you do not want new screen activity recorded.
- Open Settings → Data & privacy.
- Review the category names and counts or sizes.
- Choose an age cutoff for Screen captures, or its All control for the whole category.
- Read and confirm the deletion message.
- Reopen Replay and the relevant memory views to check the remaining data.
For a broader removal of AI work notes, clear Memory & entities as well. This can affect the person and project records you previously used for recall. Check the scope before proceeding rather than treating it as a cosmetic reset.
The app warns that the deletion cannot be undone through the interface. Do not use a real work history merely to test a button if you intend to keep it.
When is a full reset appropriate?
The panel also provides a wider delete-all action. Use it only when you intend to remove the personal data covered by the app’s reset, rather than one old recording or project.
The confirmation names chats, memory, captures, meetings, and generated images, and says installed models are kept. Read the current confirmation in your version before continuing. Do not infer that every setting, external file, credential store, or operating-system record is included because the button says “all”.
For a focused screen-history cleanup, the category controls are easier to reason about and verify.
What does local deletion leave outside its scope?
The Data & privacy panel is for this device. Backups, exported files, material already pasted into another app, and copies on other devices need separate attention. A local cleanup should not be described as a guaranteed recall of every earlier shared copy.
The interface also does not promise forensic erasure from an SSD or every system backup. Its useful result is removal from the app’s local data and normal retrieval paths for the selected scope.
Afterward, search for a known old item in the relevant app view. If it remains, check whether it belongs to another category or source before deleting more data.
Keep only the history that still helps
Open OGAD and review Data & privacy before your next cleanup. Choose a clear category and cutoff, confirm the removal, and check the result. Then decide whether to resume capture or leave it paused.
