You remember the discussion, but not which meeting contained it.
OGAD (Off Grid AI Desktop) lets you search saved meeting titles, summaries and transcripts on your Mac. Search for the project, person or phrase you remember, open the matching meeting and check the original context. This is a Pro workflow for meetings already recorded and processed in OGAD.

Search for what you remember
You do not need the exact meeting title. A distinctive product name, deadline phrase or customer issue may be a better starting point than “Monday call.” Try the words that were likely spoken.

Start narrow enough to recognize the result, but do not put the whole question into the search box. If nothing matches, try fewer words or another spelling. Speech recognition can change a name or technical term.
Find and open the meeting
- Open Search in OGAD.
- Enter a meaningful word or short phrase.
- In Sources, choose Meeting when that source is available.
- Use Relevant, Recent or Match to change how the results are ordered.
- Open a meeting result. OGAD takes you to that saved meeting.
- Read Summary for orientation, then inspect Transcript for the wording you need.
Search results help you find the meeting. They do not promise a jump to the exact second where the phrase was spoken. If the recording is still available, use its player to review the relevant part.
This can save you from replaying every call merely to identify the right one. You still use the full source when a decision or commitment depends on precise wording.
What needs to be saved first?
Use OGAD Pro on Mac with a completed meeting transcript. For new recordings, enable recording explicitly, keep its visible indicator on and let local transcription finish after you stop. Download the transcription and text models before an offline session.
The search works on retained material. It cannot recover a call that was never recorded, speech that was not captured or a transcript that was deleted. A missing recording file does not always mean the stored transcript is gone, but you will no longer be able to verify it by playback.
Local search does not need a meeting bot to join your call. The saved record is in your app; any original online meeting service has its own network requirements.
Ask a follow-up when you need an explanation
Once you know the topic, you can use Chat with a local model that supports tools. Turn Tools on and ask it to search recorded meetings, for example:
Search my recorded meetings for the migration checklist. What was requested, and which meeting supports the answer? Cite the meeting and separate stated facts from inference.
The meeting-search tool returns matching source material and citations that open the meeting. It uses bounded excerpts, so a response is not an exhaustive reading of every recording. Open the cited meeting to check the source.
If the model answers without searching or citing a meeting, use the direct Search route above. Finding the record is more useful than receiving an unsupported answer.
Find it even when the first search misses
Try the project name alone, then a term from the decision. Names can be transcribed incorrectly, and your memory of a phrase can differ from the transcript. The Recent order can help when you remember roughly when the discussion happened.
Check that the meeting finished transcription. A recording with no captured audio cannot yield the words you want. If a transcript is poor and the media is retained, the meeting’s Re-transcribe control offers a recovery route with the selected transcription model.
